325 #11
Welcome to 325, an anarchist project of counter-information and armed critique. It’s been quite some time since our last issue in November 2012, which had a focus on new technologies of control and the
globalising post-industrial prisonworld. In this issue we continue that coverage through a selected few different articles about the realities of the new century and the Technological Singularity to come.

A Crime Called Freedom
Os Cangeceiros was a group of delinquents with nothing but contempt for the self-sacrificial ideology practiced by "specialists in armed struggle." This uncontrollable band of social rebels wreaked havoc on the French state by attacking the infrastructures of oppression, supporting popular revolts, stealing and releasing secret blueprints for high-tech prisons, raiding the offices of corporate collaborators, and creating their lives in complete opposition to the world-based-on-work. This volume, translated by Wolfi Landstreicher, is the first substantial collection of the writings of Os Cangaceiros in English.

Autonomous Self-Organization and Anarchist Intervention

A Tension in Practice...

Autonomous self-organization would have to be the basis both of a truly free existence and of the struggle to achieve that existence. It is the very opposite of politics, and in practice either rejects it or is destroyed by it.

Endless War

A series of essays that seem, unfortunately, to only get more relevant as time goes on. Writings on the political, manipulative use of words like terrorism, the criminalization of all kinds of resistance, and the relationship of times of peace (preparation) to times of war (realization).

Fire to the Prisons #11

"We wish we could provide some coherent politics, a concrete identity, or a precise program; but we are not looking to make decisions, only to realize frustrations and unify different tensions as a result of them.

We need to act out our desires now, worry about where it takes us later."

Fire to the Prisons #5

"What we are talking about is a new war, a new partisan war. Without front nor uniform, without army nor decisive battle. A guerrilla whose focus unfolds away from the commercial flows although plugged into them. We're talking about a war full of latency. That's got time.
A war of position.

Which is waged where we are.
In the name of no one.
In the name of our own existence, which has no name."

Fire to the Prisons #6

There you have it. More polemical than literate, more driven than thoughtful, here is one of a plethora of insurrectionary-inspired contemporary zines. More graphically sophisticated than some (and on its sixth issue already, more long-lived than some also), this issue has a history of Paris '68, stories of Mayday celebrations in various parts of the u.s. and europe, a commentary on roving street parties cum riots (starting with Panda-monium, in New York), a bit about anti 2010 Olympics actions, an article on confronting fear and another called "Collapsing the European Security Architecture".

Let's Destroy Work, Let's Destroy the Economy

The pernicious mixture of hatred and dependency at the basis of the work relationship atrophies the individual, reducing life to a question of accountancy. ‘Free time’, a mere negative quantity ranging from a few hours between days at work, to months or even years between jobs, can be survived by performing a number of rituals.
