Writings by members of Os Cangaceiros (a revolutionary group in France, see A Crime Called Freedom) write about their fierce Brazilian namesakes, as well as the millenarian groups of the dispossessed and poor at the dawn of the 20th century, who found themselves in an apocalyptic struggle with the Brazilian state.
This is also Black Powder Press's first book. Its format is similar to Eberhardt's A Crime Called Freedom (now out of print but available online at the above link), and has sweet touches, like a brief postscript about fonts, printing processes, and other. |
