Autonomist Marxism

Autonomist Marxism, or Autonomism, refers to the social struggles in Italy and Germany in the 1970s and '80s, which were defined by an extra-legal orientation (including riots, squatting, and fare strikes) and militancy. Autonomist Marxism is a form of Marxism focused on developing working class autonomy and power within capitalist society.
