What it is, why we need it, and how we implement it...
This is a pamphlet that was written and disseminated before the internet was ubiquitous. In these days of social media creep and surveillance cameras on every corner, there are definitely ways that this is out of date information. But because we are humans, this is still worth reading, Security culture is still a very real concern, and reading about what people used to think were good practices is a good reminder to consider what we can and should do now.
There is also a live conversation about the problems of security culture (as exemplified by the black bloc, for one), and the assumption that it is more important to hide ourselves than it is to be up front about what we are doing. This kind of reading can serve as a take off point for more nuanced, and more contemporary, conversations.
