In 1981 and '82, various bombings, including Litton Industries factory (makers of a Cruise missile component), a hydro sub-station, and three pornographic video stores in Canada, were claimed by the groups Direct Action and the Wimmins Fire Brigade. In early 1983 five members of the Vancouver anarchist scene were arrested for these attacks.
